Sun Still Shining

The group gets together for a photo with their language teachers, IUSI's site coordinator Gabi Castañeda, and IUSI program coordinator Jennifer Jewett who traveled to Mexico last week to check in with the group in light of the recent H1N1 influenza activity. This photo was taken on the patio of the Centro Intercultural de Querétaro, where classes continued to be held while the university was closed.

On May 7th, universities re-opened and Jennifer reports that in Queretaro all was calm and life was beginning to return to normal. Students are back on the campus of the UAQ for classes and continue to enjoy their time in Querétaro.
